Brotherhood of Nations Program

The world has become a very dangerous place and promises to get much worse unless drastic and firm steps are taken by the international community to stop the proliferation of nuclear technology by "rogue" nations.

Those of us who grew up during the cold war and the threat of nuclear annihilation have kept in the back of our minds that some day this technology would eventually end up in the wrong hands. That has now become a reality. At this time I guess we don't want to admit or think about the fact that nations who hate the U.S. are now rushing to get this technology. But do any of you out there really think that the United Nations has the answers to this problem or the will to do anything about it? If they did we would not be in the position that we are in, since the United Nations has been around during the whole time that the threats have been growing.

Isn't the problem that the United Nations has weak kneed policies that in the real world amount to standing by and watching the world spin out of control? This is what is happening. Many on television are telling us that we are already in World War III. To me that statement is an exaggeration, but it does tell us that we are heading that direction. Someone is going to have to do something because we all know that the world is heading for big trouble. It's just a matter of time.

The case of Saddam Hussein is the perfect example of how powerless the United Nations was to implement and stand behind their resolutions and sanctions. Even with President Bush practically forcing them to make Saddam Hussein act right they accomplished little more than talking and threatening. Time has given us proof positive that the United Nations does not have the power or the will to stand up to even the weakest of dictators since they have to respect the rights of each sovereign nation.

The leaders of what we call "rogue" nations are not stupid. They know exactly how to manipulate the United Nations so that in the long run they get their way. This is what we have observed in the real world. What makes you think that this is going to change?

Part of the problem is that the countries that make up the United Nations are often at odds with each other - or even down right enemies. We know that many of the countries of the United Nations do not share the same goals as the U.S. but are actually opposed to U.S. policies. If we were all on the same side the U.S. would never have found itself at war in Korea or Vietnam. We wouldn't be in Iraq today if we were all actually "United Nations". And now days the Islamic ideology has been thrown into the mix.

So how can the United Nations work properly and accomplish anything that even resembles world peace when it is made of so many nations that are at odds with each other, and that have different types of governments which are often ideologically opposed? Quite frankly it hasn't done a very good job, as we watch world events push us closer to a nuclear showdown.

The American Taxpayer party has a plan to fix this problem and bring world peace but it will require the backing of the American Taxpayers. Since this plan, the "Brotherhood of Nations" program, is such a radical new approach to bringing about world peace, the program will be discussed before the American Taxpayers on national television and they will be allowed to vote on it via the "Meet and Vote" process.

Honestly, it may be too radical and get rejected by the American Taxpayers. All we can do is put it forward and let the people decide. [See Index 1 and click on "Meet and Vote" program to understand the "Meet and Vote" process of bringing about the will of the people in Washington.]

Imagine a world with no war. Is it even possible to stop war? It's unlikely, right? After all, we've always had war. That's one of the "trademarks" of humanity, or so it seems? The "Brotherhood of Nations" program is a plan to stop war as we know it. A lofty goal indeed, but how realistic is it?

Is it even possible to stop war on a world wide scale? We would say yes, it is a possibility - and a vision that we have. That should bring just a glimmer of hope to those of you who want a peaceful world. Is it a probability? That will depend on the world's response to the "Brotherhood of Nations" program. All we can do is lay it out to the world and see how they respond.

This is not another United Nations plan that has no substance or real meaning. It certainly isn't a "weak kneed" program that will end up as a mockery, like some U.N. sanctions and policies. The "Brotherhood of Nations" program has substance, will require real commitment and will be considered by many to be too harsh. It requires that all nations who sign on be willing to live up to the contractual agreements given below.

It is a program that is based on the fact that non-aggressive nations are innocent and those that attack others (aggressors) are guilty. It is not based on any religion nor is it against any religion. It does not favor any nation over another. All nations will be signing the exact same contractual stipulations (given below in paragraphs 1 - 10). Here are the goals of the "Brotherhood of Nations" program:

Goal #1 - To end all war.

Goal #2 - To bring absolute safety and security to participating nations.

Goal #3 - To completely eliminate suspicions among nations.

Goal #4 - To calm the current and ongoing "hot spots" - and potential "hot spots" in the world.

Goal #5 - To prove to the world who the real aggressors are.

Goal #6 - To eliminate the need for U.N. peacekeepers.

Goal #7 - To allow nations to use their money for the good of their citizens rather than on building up their military.

Here is how the "Brotherhood of Nations" program will work:

PARAGRAPH 1 - The "Brotherhood of Nations" program is a plan for world peace. It is a written and signed agreement between participating nations that they will never attack any of the other participating nations at any time, for any reason - ever, and there are no exceptions. The contract is a written 100 year agreement to be signed by all political and military leaders of every member nation.

PARAGRAPH 2 - Member nations can opt out of the contract and the "Brotherhood of Nations" at any time by disclosing to the other member nations their desire to do so. That nation can not rejoin the "Brotherhood of Nations " again until all of the leaders who had previously signed the contract (and opted out) have been removed and new leadership appointed.

PARAGRAPH 3 - All member nations will keep and supply their own military as is the normal custom of nations today. Their military will not be allowed to go outside of their borders. Military personnel from member nations will not be allowed on any other member nation's land. There is only one exception (given below). There are no allowances for any type of military occupation by any nation. Each nation is sovereign and will be treated with the proper respect by the other member nations. All nations will keep their military within their borders. The exception will be when one member nation chooses to become an aggressor and attack another member nation. The consequences of this aggression is addressed in paragraph 6 and paragraph 7.

PARAGRAPH 4 - All disagreements between participating nations are to be worked out diplomatically, and there are no exceptions. The military option has been removed completely and cannot be considered.

PARAGRAPH 5 - There is no allowance for any participating nation to ever militarily attack any other participating nation. It cannot and will not be tolerated and there are no exceptions. "Guilty" aggressor nations who attack "innocent" member nations will lose their leadership and their military automatically (as per paragraph 7).

PARAGRAPH 6 - The consequences for breaking the "Brotherhood of Nations" contract by attacking a fellow member nation is to be attacked by all of the other participating nations. No one is exempt - all participating nations are to participate in the attack on the aggressor. There are no exceptions.

PARAGRAPH 7 - If a participating nation does choose to break the "Brotherhood of Nations" contract, chooses to become an aggressor, and chooses to attack another member nation, the military of the aggressor is to be completely destroyed by the other participating nations and their political and military leaders are all to be captured and put to death (that is, all who signed the "Brotherhood of Nations" contract).

PARAGRAPH 8 - There will be no need for long drawn out trials for the leaders of an aggressor nation who have chosen their death by becoming an aggressor and attacking an innocent member nation. All of this will be covered in the contract that these leaders signed and the obvious consequences for becoming an aggressor will be made clear. Choosing to break the contract by attacking another participating nation is an automatic death penalty for all of the political and military leaders who signed the contract and chose to break it by becoming an aggressor. The military of the aggressor nation will also be destroyed (as per paragraph 7) and new leadership will be appointed by the civilian population of that aggressor nation. There are no exceptions and there will be no talking or negotiating with that aggressor nation. The consequences of becoming an aggressor nation are purposely harsh to help aggressive world leaders understand that the other participating nations are serious about having world peace. The extremely harsh penalty for becoming an aggressor nation will help those leaders who desire to attack others choose not to since they realize that they will lose everything if they do.

PARAGRAPH 9 - If any "Brotherhood of Nations" participating member is attacked by any nation of the world (by the military or any terrorist organization residing in that nation) who is not a member of the "Brotherhood of Nations", that non-member aggressor nation will be attacked by all other "Brotherhood of Nations" members and it's military will be destroyed, it's political and military leaders put to death and it's status as a nation taken away. It's land will be divided equally among all "Brotherhood of Nations" members who border that country and all of it's military technology, supplies and hardware will be divided equally among all "Brotherhood of Nations" members. That non-member aggressor nation will cease to exist as a sovereign nation. The "Brotherhood of Nations" program is going to be extended to all nations on earth. Since some of the world's nations have motives that are not conducive to world peace they may not want to join the "Brotherhood of Nations". These severe repercussions are being put in the contract as a warning to them not to attack the "Brotherhood of Nations" if they want to remain a nation.

PARAGRAPH 10 - This paragraph pertains to world terrorism. All participating members of the "Brotherhood of Nations" are responsible for the actions of it's citizens. If citizens of a participating nation choose to attack any member nation in any form or fashion, causing death and/or destruction, the nation from which they come will be held responsible for their actions by the entire "Brotherhood of Nations". That member nation from which the aggressor citizens came must allow the destruction of all of the cities from which the aggressor citizens came by the "Brotherhood of Nations" in an attempt to stop further attacks. All nations who sign the "Brotherhood of Nation" contract and erect the "Brotherhood of Nations" monument will need to understand that by signing the contract they cannot sponsor any type of terrorism that would potentially leave their borders nor would it be wise for them to allow any terrorist organizations to remain within their borders as they will be held fully responsible for the actions of those who live within their borders. There are no exceptions and the ideology of the terrorists does not matter. The destruction will come swiftly and without mercy. "Brotherhood of Nations" members will not be held responsible for rebuilding the cities that are destroyed during the bombing and no cities will be spared. This is meant to be a warning for all nations who desire to be a member of the "Brotherhood of Nations" to use their own military to destroy any terrorist organizations within it's borders before committing to "Brotherhood of Nations" status. Failure to do so could possibly bring about the death and destruction to much of it's country. Failure to allow fellow members the opportunity to retaliate on the cities from which the terrorists come will void the "Brotherhood of Nations" contract and that nation will then be treated as a non-member who has attacked a "Brotherhood of Nations" member. The penalty will be in accordance with paragraph 9.

Advantages of the "Brotherhood of Nations" over U.N. policies:

Advantage 1 - Completely eliminate the need for United Nations peace keepers in all member nations.

ADVANTAGE 2 - Completely eliminate all occupation of one nation by another in all member nations.

ADVANTAGE 3 - Completely eliminate the need for U. N. sanctions which have typically penalized citizens for the actions of their leaders.

ADVANTAGE 4 - Allow all member nations to have complete freedom to practice their own religion without any interference by other member nations.

ADVANTAGE 5 - Allow all member nations to practice their own form of government without interference by other member nations.

ADVANTAGE 6 - Eliminate the need to kill multitudes of innocent citizens when retaliation is taken for member nations becoming aggressors and attacking other member nations, since the leadership will be held responsible for their actions when they choose to become aggressors.

ADVANTAGE 7 - Negate the power of potentially aggressive leaders (who choose to become aggressive toward other nations) among their own military leadership and military personnel since they know that the penalty for attacking other nations will be their destruction.

ADVANTAGE 8 - Completely eliminate the need for any member nation to acquire nuclear weapons since other member nations who do have nuclear weapons are bound by contract to protect those that don't (from non-member nations and member nations).

ADVANTAGE 9 - Completely eliminate the fears that any member nations have of an attack from the U.S. since the U.S. is bound by contract just like all other nations.

ADVANTAGE 10 - Completely eliminate all suspicions that nations have of each other since they know that they are all bound by the same contract. This will be a great incentive to join the "Brotherhood of Nations".

ADVANTAGE 11 - Free up trade between member nations who neighbor each other since their suspicions of each other have been eliminated by the Brotherhood of Nations contract which they have both signed, putting them on the same side.

ADVANTAGE 12 - Eliminate world terror among all member nations.

ADVANTAGE 13 - Free the U.N. to put their energy and resources in other areas that need to be addressed, such as world hunger.

ADVANTAGE 14 - Give the smaller nations who do not have big military budgets the opportunity to use the resources they do have to build their economy.

ADVANTAGE 15 - This program being implemented throughout the world will surely expose those leaders who have plans for evil since they will be the ones who don't want to sign on. Those who don't want to be part of the effort to stabilize the world will need to be looked on with suspicion by all who do sign the "Brotherhood of Nations" contract. And they will be watched closely.

Can you think of more advantages? All nations that realize that the world is heading for a nuclear showdown , who are tired of the threat of war, fearful or suspicious of their neighbor's intentions, or who are ready for world peace for any other reason are eligible to join the "Brotherhood of Nations".

All nations that join the "Brotherhood of Nations" by signing the contract will erect the "Brotherhood of Nations" monument in their nation's capitol for the citizens of that nation to visit. The monument will be a memorial and a constant reminder to the leaders and citizens of that nation of the contract that was signed with all of the other nations that belong to the "Brotherhood of Nations".

The monument's design has not been established at this time but surely the final design will be as spectacular as the principle behind the program. It will need to be constructed of a material that will last for the entire 100 years that the contract has been signed for and built strong enough to take anything that nature can throw at it. One of the goals of participating nations will be to encourage all nations on earth to join the "Brotherhood of Nations". Ideally all nations will eventually join, but this cannot and should not be expected.

There are many details of the "Brotherhood of Nations" program that need to be worked out and none of the above is set in stone. This is a general idea of the direction that I firmly believe the international community needs to go in if we are ever going to have world peace. This is an equally fair contract for all parties and does not allow favoritism for any particular nation since all nations will be signing the exact same contract.

Like all other ideas and inventions this one too needs to be perfected. This is how good ideas begin. Then someone else adds or takes away from it to improve it. Pretty soon it starts sounding like it might work. In time and after a number of revisions people begin to get excited about it. The next thing you know it is being implemented. But ideas have to start somewhere and this program is that beginning. Cars and airplanes and even our Constitution started this way. Eventually they became workable.

The "Meet and Vote" program will be used to address this idea so that the people can get their two cents worth in. I'm sure the American Taxpayers have plenty of questions and hopefully some good additions to how the program should work before we present it to the world.

Obviously the program has been presented here in a simple "black and white" format for an easy layman's understanding. Once the lawyers get a hold of it no one will be able to understand it. No final decision will be made until the American Taxpayers vote on it and approve it. If approved, it will then be presented to the nations of the world. It may all lead nowhere, but it may lead to world peace.

Once we get some deep thinkers working on this idea the sky is the limit. Pessimists will immediately throw the idea out but I believe that this avenue needs to be explored. If we don't do something we all know that the world will continue on the same path. And I think that I can speak for most of us when I say that the future does not look good.
