President's Cabinet

The President's Cabinet includes the heads (secretaries) of 15 executive departments who advise the president in matters related to their particular department. Since President Bush's cabinet members will be resigning their posts I will need to find replacements for them.

At present I do not have replacements picked out for any of the departments. To be honest, picking replacements will not be much of a priority until election time. Keep an eye on this page of the website and you will see names of nominees filled in slowly but surely as I get time to research each department.

If you, the reader, have any names in mind for the cabinet positions listed below please submit their names [see "How to get involved/Survey" in Index 1 to submit nominees for cabinet positions]. Please feel free to submit your own name if you feel like you could do a better job than one of the current cabinet secretaries.

With your name please include contact information and an explanation of why you think you could do whatever job that you are interested in and why you are qualified. I will want to fill these positions with American Taxpayers who have not been part of the Washington culture since we will be starting over from scratch with a different type of presidency. All names submitted will be considered equally. Below is a listing of the various cabinet positions along with a brief description of their responsibilities.
